Current Chair of the Agile Alliance Board of Directors and co-author of "Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great," Diana Larsen, talks to DZone about the Alliance's mission. She gives her perspective on the problems that decision-makers are having in the field of software development. Larsen says companies are still holding on to old business systems for development workflow. These mechanized, assembly-line type methods are what the Agile Alliance is trying to fight.
Larsen also covers Retrospectives in-depth and talks about her CIO research with James Shore. Their research found that CIO's are concerned with providing the tools for their teams to be successful. Finally, she tells us about the road ahead for the Agile Alliance.
