Agile has had a transformative effect on organizations in the wake of the economic crisis that began in 2008.  When the recession started, companies were in survival mode, but as the economy began its recovery for many countries, agile organizations have grown out of adoption-mode and started sharing success stories.  Robert Holler, the CEO of VersionOne, is seeing a great deal of proliferation in the agile space, along with a migration from point solutions to agile lifecycle solutions.

Robert Holler's company, VersionOne, provides software that encourages the incremental, bottom-up approach to agile.  Their ALM tools let different teams within an organization employ different methodologies such as XP, Scrum, and Kanban within an overarching framework.  Each team has their own 'workspace' in VersionOne's solution.
