Video: The Pomodoro Show - Plan Your Free Time
In this presentation, Gino Marckx introduces the Pomodoro Technique. The Pomodoro Technique is not a methodology, but a simple strategy for achieving personal productivity and a work/life balance.
The Pomodoro Technique was created in Italy, where Pomo d'oro means "tomato". It was named for a kitchen timer that was made to look like a tomato. The timer was used as a part of the technique which helped people focus on a single task for a set amount of time, reducing unproductive multitasking. In this presentation, Gino Marckx will introduce the tools and strategies for employing this valuable concept, and show how the Pomodoro Technique can be integrated into an agile framework.
Gino Marckx is active in both the Canadian and Belgian Agile communities.
